Environment is no one's property to destroy; it's everyone's responsibility to protect. ' Kuna Sanaa' which means there is art in swahili, is a program that allows artists to meet, showcase their talents, and engage in an environmental discussions. The program also gives room to an arts workshop on how artworks and performances can be a part of societal change. Thanks to the support of the Kitale Museum we are able to hold these needed workshops. Artists and art institutions depend on each other to shape our culture and tell our stories:- it is their relationship that helps s to connect more deeply with ourselves. The lack of artistic support and resources for artists in Trans-Nzoia has pushed a lot of artists to doing other jobs to support themselves.
